Four friends travel from Sydney for a weekend surfing trip. One is involved in a fight with a local man because he had sex with the man's daughter. The situation progressively grows darker. Plot is alright, the acting quality is variable, certainly John Jarrett, Steve Bisley (and Mel) have done better but I found the movie entertaining and watchable - just don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. find out more...

The discovery of a girl's body in the water escalates an already tense and sexually charged environment and introduces the possibility of murder. Young Adam is adapted from Alexander Trocchi's beat novel, a powerful and sharply observed story, grimly gripping and finely acted. find out more...
