Hollywood gives Noah's Ark another seeing to and chucks in a bit of Tolkienesque monster whimsy, just in case a wrathful god, his devoted servant and a lot of water doesn't quite hold you for the 2 plus hours running time. Some great and suitably epic special effects don't really save this from being a humourless, poorly scripted and weirdly cast trudge.
