A drama based on the possibly imminent (though that could mean another couple of thousand years) eruption of the super volcano lurking under Yellow Stone Park in North America. Some juicy special effects are the only real redeeming aspects of this overwrought ‘real life' interpretation of events and the resulting aftermath. Don't get me wrong, if and when Yellow Stone Park gets all hot and bothered it's made quite clear most of us won't get to celebrate our next birthday, but hey, you could die find out more...

The film that the Flicks staff tried to ban, (because everybody else thought it so bad - the editor)! This stunning money pit of a disaster pic has everything. Stars? In spades! (Henry Fonda looking suitably sheepish, as is Double Indemnity's Fred MacMurray) Action? Pah. Don't even go there. Sex? Katharine Ross's quivering, petulant lower lip is enough to get you going.
