DRIVE (2011)

Certification18 Our Rating

A mysterious Hollywood stuntman, mechanic and getaway driver lands himself in trouble when he helps out his neighbour.
Well, this film looks set to become one of the best of 2011. The cast gets where director Refn is coming, adjusting their performances to pitch-perfect minimalism, where even a twitched muscle can stand out. Gosling has never used his physicality better (he's not given a lot else to work with) and this movie is testament to the power of his screen presence. Even more re find out more...

GATTACA (1997)

Fascinating futuristic yarn set in a world that's finally cracked genetic engineering. Only the perfect are rewarded with social acceptance, with the un-improved branded as in-valids. GO (1999)

Doug Liman's follow-up to brilliant indie hit "Swingers" is a witty, pacy and brilliantly observed slice of LA life. This darkly comic movie follows the misadventures of three characters over a crazy 24 hours, as their individual shenanigans are woven together by a botched drug deal, a hit-and-run robbery and a very large night out. Some may say it's a homage to Tarantino, but, if so, it's a damn fine one with great performances and a storming soundtrack. A must-see. find out more...

Superb. find out more...

He gives away all that he has and sets out across North America, his ultimate goal the perfect isolation of the Alaskan wilderness. Based on real events 'Into The Wild' is beautifully judged, paced and performed; an epic, gloriously visualised road trip and also a moving and though find out more...
