A variant on the gangster theme but this time with an investigation led not by the police but by a high profile journalist, Veronica Guerin, whose determination to get to the root of the heroin problem in Dublin's housing estates eventually led to her murder. Based on a true story and highly recommended, especially so for anyone who watched the superb 'The General' as the film starts with Cahill's murder.
