Dale, Mal and Shane are brothers in arms in every sense of the word, highly successful robbers the lads abide by one simple rule, no killing. Unfortunately the boys' last gig was not as clean as they would like and along with their dodgy lawyer the men find themselves beholden to a group of gangsters who require their particular skills for one last job. The Hard Word is a classy and on occasion brutal gangster thriller with more twists than a jellyfish in spasm, hard, lean and fast, with some fine performances.
