Review
Gideon Warner is a PR guru and as the Millennium draws to a close he is at the height of his fame, forced to turn away clients that others would kill for, but just as all seems within his grasp so affairs of the heart begin to loosen his vice like grip. Gideon's hitherto unused emotions go into overdrive when he begins to fall in love with a grieving mother, while the long repressed fury of his daughter finally reaches a point of implosion. Written and directed by the celebrated Stephen Poliakoff, Gideon's daughter is a follow on to his ‘Friends and Crocodiles'; an intelligent and beautifully acted drama that nonetheless fails to reach the almost blemish less heights of his earlier work.
