Herschell Gordon Lewis's 1964 classic gets a make over for the new millenium with genre stalwart Robert Englund as the Mayor of Pleasant Valley, a small township in the American south that still holds with the old fashioned values of community, cannibalism and the Confederate way. Throw in a disparate group of young, cocky nubile teens lured by a detour to the town's annual 'Guts n' Glory' jubilee and you've got an over-the-top, slapstick gorefest. Leave your brain at the menu page and down a few beers and you'll have a riot.
