A NATO train, carrying sensitive communications equipment toward the war in Kosovo, is stopped by the officious and bent little station master of the small Romanian town of Capâlnita on the grounds of not having the correct paperwork. The stranded recruits are welcomed by the local mayor and populace, especially the girls, and we especially follow a romance between the station master's sexy daughter and the American commanders's adjutant.
