A nifty urban drama centred around Chris's returning to a London housing estate after 4 years exile in Manchester, surprised to find his once ambitious and top of the class friend Shifty heavily involved in drug dealing. The film covers 24 hours in which Shifty is forced to confront his supplier, deal with a desperate, penniless junkie, sell and market his wares and continue to keep his business secret from his flatmate; older and more conservative brother, Nitin. Chris must face his past and his reasons for running away, while Shifty must face his future, an increasingly violent and desperate looking one.
