A superb, witty, warm hearted and unavoidably surreal look into the world of hair weaves amongst the African American community. From the harvesting of the hair in India to the all powerful middle men of Korea and China and then final consumer, Chris Rock (who also wrote and produced) is a charming and relaxed interviewer. I still hadn’t truly grasped the full financial and cultural complexity of an industry born of other people’s follicles by the end, but I thoroughly enjoyed the journey.
