and a fun-load of detecting as it goes.

Sharper in every way than the previous movie, and less smug, Game of Shadows also boasts a genuinely decent bad guy in the form of Jared Harris (Mad Men's Lane Pryce, amongst other things). It's a bit long, and a bit pleased with itself, and it's obviously all very silly and nothing like 'the real Sherlock Holmes', but it is nonetheless really quite enjoyable. A fair shout for any Friday night in.
