A moving and emotive account, via a trilogy of short films of the life and times of Liverpudlian clerk Robert Tucker. From school, through a closet-gay middle-aged to death, Davies paints a beatifully detailed piture. Briefly surreal with flashes of dry, ironic wit. Unusual and compelling story.
