Cracking, compelling thriller with Caruso as the ex-convict caught in a no-win situation. Forced by an obsessed DA to infiltrate New York's seedy underground, he's soon entangled in a web of treacherous deceit, with crazed psychopath Nick Cage hot on his tail, and nowhere to run. Brilliant.
