Offbeat comedy with Richard Dreyfuss as Professor James Krippendorf, recipient of a $100,000 research grant. Unfortunately, instead of spending the money on discovering a lost tribe in New Guinea, Krippendorf has blown the money on bringing up his unruly three kids. So when people start asking questions, the prof sets up some ramshackle native-looking huts in his back yard and sets about filming the most primitive life-form he can find - his children! But suspicious boffin Lily Tomlin is on her way to the dysfunctional family homestead to expose him once and for all..........Good family fun.
