More action-packed sci-fi from "Event Horizon" director Anderson. Kurt Russell plays an ageing galactic warrior, Todd, who's assigned to the scrapheap when new technology develops a super-breed of genetically engineered fighters. Dumped on a back-of-beyond planet colonised by the survivors of a spacecraft crash, Todd begins to rediscover his human side. But he soon has to polish up his fighting skills when a posse of the mutant super-soldiers arrive.
