Asterix and Obelix finally come off the cartoonists board into the real world, courtesy of, amongst others, Gerard Depardieu. The wilful Gauls, thanks to their magic potion are still fighting the Romans and the stories are still as surreal and madcap as ever. Excellent fun, but unfortunately only available in this dubbed version... The kids probably won't mind though. find out more...

Mercifully, Martin hasn't tried to resurrect Phil Silvers in this Hollywood version of the classic TV series. Instead he revives the slapstick Steve we all used to love, to play the most incompetent, incorrigible and immoral sergeant in military history. Seth Rogen and James Franco made a stupid movie about North Korea because no one stopped them. With the assistance of Lizzy Caplan (who is occasionally funny) the duo journey to North Korea to kill Kim Jong-Un. It's not even really that it's an offensive film - though it may offend some - it's more that it's just a really bad film. And by that I meant boring, sloppy and not at all entertaining. But there are at least some rather good 'James Franco is a twatty TV show host' style scenes.

It's the height of the IIWW and country pigeon Valiant has only one ambition, to become a member of the elite Royal Homing Pigeon Service. Against all the odds Valiant, along with his rag-tag band of friends gets to do his bit and in the process becomes a hero.
