Wise-cracking, super slick jewel thief Miles gets caught during a hi-tec robbery, stashing his loot in an empty building he returns two years later to find it has become the new police headquarters. Passing himself off as a cop in order to gain entry, he finds his previous career along with his complete lack of respect for law and order makes him a rather successful detective.
