2 GUNS (2013)

Certification15 Our Rating

Undercover DEA agent Bobby Trench and US Naval Intelligence Officer Marcus Stigman have been working together as part of a criminal gang for the past year, with each of them in the dark about the other's true identity. After they rob a bank they soon realise that they have been set up to kill each other and with nobody on their side they are forced to form an alliance in order find out who wants them both dead. A rollicking, crash, bang, boom! of a flick.

Certification15 Our Rating

A morally ambivalent tale of two policemen involved in various battles; for the top job, to put an end to a violent gang, to protect their snitches and, we are led to believe, in the past over a woman. Both policemen bend the laws beyond the limits of decency to achieve their ends in this dark and gun-slinging thriller set against the backdrop of a neon-lit Paris underworld. find out more...

Wise-cracking, super slick jewel thief Miles gets caught during a hi-tec robbery, stashing his loot in an empty building he returns two years later to find it has become the new police headquarters. Passing himself off as a cop in order to gain entry, he finds his previous career along with his complete lack of respect for law and order makes him a rather successful detective. An enjoyable, 'does what it says on the label', action-comedy. find out more...
CHAOS (2005)

Certification15 Our Rating

After a deadly bank heist, 2 Seattle detectives are drawn into a mysterious case where nothing is what it seems. Pulling the strings is a criminal mastermind who seems to kill without warning or reason. "Chaos" is a super twisty thriller and, though I eventually lost my grip on the plot, as an action movie it works pretty well. find out more...

TAXI (1997)

Daniel, a taxi driver who loves to push his foot to the metal, gets caught speeding by the cops. In an attempt to keep his driving licence, Daniel offers to help a loser police inspector catch a gang of German bank robbers. Despite being scripted by Luc Besson (Nikita, Leon, The Big Blue) 'Taxi' seems content to be an average action flick. Despite all this, the film went down a storm at the French box office, the car chase scenes may have helped, and, at the time of writing, a sequel is well un find out more...

A bunch of likely London lads are hired to rob a bank of its safety deposit boxes, but unfortunately this bunch of amateurs aren't really the best outfit to pull the job off. While the robbery doesn't go exactly according to plan, the scandal that they inadvertently bring to light may become the boys' best hope of dodging a very long stretch at Her Majesty's pleasure, or worse. Apparently based loosely on a true event, Princess Margaret(?) Lord Lambton(?), the Bank Job is a highly enjoyable, pac find out more...
TRIANGLE (2007)

Certification12 Our Rating

Bringing together three of Hong Kong's most prolific directors, Ringo Lam, Johnny To and Hark Tsui, 'Triangle' tells the story of three financially troubled friends who get given a map and decide to end their problems by digging up a hidden treasure from under the HK Legislative Council building. With each director taking a third of the film to make his own, this high octane action-thriller is occasionally a bit disjointed, but in the main holds together surprisingly well. find out more...
