Bohemian junkie poet Dan falls in love with gorgeous, but emotionally scewed up, art student Candy, whom he turns on to heroin. Junkies together their relationship alternates between states of oblivion, self-destruction and despair. With sympathetic performances from all concerned 'Candy' is an interesting observation of drug addiction and the blurring of emotional perception that it can bring.
