The most compelling Batman yet - no longer the dithering idiot of the sixties but a merciless superhero seeking vengeance. Jack Nicholson steals the show, though, with a superbly over the top Joker (the casting department really worked overtime on that one...), and they battle it out amongst a frenzy of special effects. Highly enjoyable, don't miss it.
