Hiro is a something of a tech kid prodigy but, having just showcased the merits of micro bots, finds someone else has decided to use them for evil. With the help of an unlikely big white health robot called Baymax and a bunch of enjoyably quirky sidekicks, Hiro takes on the forces of evil in an effort to save the day. A fun film with some good gags, great robots and swell animation.

IGOR (2008)

CertificationPG Our Rating

Igor is a mad scientist's hunchbacked lab assistant who has big dreams of becoming an inventor in his own right and winning the coveted first place award at the annual Evil Science Fair. A nicely done twist on the classic monster genre, kooky, imaginative, good natured, and though it's for the little ones… just a wee bit dark. find out more...

The Valley Of Peace and its inhabitants are under threat from a malevolent snow leopard, Tai Lung. SHREK (2001)

Shrek is an Ogre who lives in contented anonymity in his swamp, but the threat of losing his home forces the reluctant beast to set off an adventure to rescue a tougher than old boots damsel in distress, closely followed by a particularly gobby donkey. Shrek effectively carries on the fine tradition began by 'Toy Story', stunning computer animation tied to a story that's apparently for kids but which has a script that's knowing, witty, loaded with in-jokes and squarely aimed at the adults. Bob Parr and his wife Helen are just a normal couple living with their three children in the suburbs, Bob hates his job as an insurance clerk, but hell, what sane man wouldn't? There is nothing remarkable about the Parr family, nothing at all… well except that fifteen years earlier Bob and Helen were two of the greatest super heroes the world has ever known, fearless crime fighters put out to pasture when the authorities began to count the financial costs of the way they did business. find out more...

Seth Rogen and James Franco made a stupid movie about North Korea because no one stopped them. With the assistance of Lizzy Caplan (who is occasionally funny) the duo journey to North Korea to kill Kim Jong-Un. It's not even really that it's an offensive film - though it may offend some - it's more that it's just a really bad film. And by that I meant boring, sloppy and not at all entertaining. But there are at least some rather good 'James Franco is a twatty TV show host' style scenes.
