The best film in the history of comic British cinema. A black tale of sex, adultery, murder and social class told with low key irony. Alec Guinness plays all the leading roles, and the delightfully witty and sardonic script is ideal for him. A landmark of British film.

LIFE OF BRIAN (1979)
Certification15 Our Rating
Brilliant Monty Python skit on the life of Christ which also takes a few swipes at the sectarian nature of British left wing political parties. Brian never wanted to be a messiah but fame is thrust upon him. Caused a huge outcry when it was released. Still banned in the Republic of Ireland!!

The Shallow Grave team have surpassed themselves with this in-your-face look at the seedier side of life, through the eyes of smack-head Mark and his motley assortment of mates. Shocking, stylish, sometimes surreal yet utterly believable and very, very funny. See it!
