Set during the mid 1920s Leatherheads is a romantic comedy drama that uses the backdrop of American football's transition from hicks getting brutal in a cow field to the money spinning cash cow that we know and love today. Beautifully visualised and likeably performed this is a very pleasantly tasteful way to allow a couple of hours to slip you by.
