An American returns to his ancestral home in Wales to make amends with his father. He buys a walking-stick in an antique shop off a lass named Gwen, gets involved with some local gypsies and is bitten by a wolf, something which turns out to have rather unfortunate consequences. Will's life is stuck in a rut, and everyone seems to be leaving him behind. One night he's bitten by a wolf and his life begins to transform. At first the changes are positive: he regains his 'killer' instinct (metaphorically speaking) at work, but then more primal urges begin to surface. Good fun.
