A mysterious millionaire buys an ad agency and begins to replace its employees with his own people, who don't appear to be advertising types at all.

This story is pretty terrible but the subliminal message big reveal is really enjoyable. 

Taking its cue from Chronicle (2012), Project Almanac is part of the "found footage" sci-fi phenomenon sweeping contemporary teen cinema. A group of friends discover time travel and use it to have a lot of fun; rewriting their entry into the high school popularity charts, partying without wasting time, acing tests and getting even with bullies.
