Tom is just your average geezer, but after he is hypnotised at a party he begins to see horrific visions, as they intensify he begins to realise he is witnessing a real and hideous crime. The desire to escape his new-found powers becomes swamped by the overpowering desire to solve the mystery, though the consequences may well be fatal.
