When Mitchie scores a summer job as a cook at Camp Rock, her life takes an unpredictable twist as she learns just how important it is to be true to yourself, which isn't easy when you're hanging out with the Jonas Brothers and a cast who've been tap dancing in the Disney factory ever since they moved on to solid foods. A teen drama musical from the same people who gave us the ‘High School Musical' phenomenon. find out more...
CAREFREE (1938)

CertificationU Our Rating

One of the last of the Fred Astaire Ginger Rogers song and dance extravaganzas and unusual if only because Ginger falls for Fred rather than the other way around. Irving Berlin is still the man behind the lyrics, and the chemistry between the two stars remains alive and kicking. Musical numbers include Since They Turned 'Loch Lomond' into Swing, I Used To Be Color Blind, The Night is Filled With Music, The Yam and Change Partners. find out more...
CAROUSEL (1956)

CertificationU Our Rating

Another classic musical from the Rodgers and Hammerstein stable which relates the poignant story of Billy Bigelow, a shiftless carnival barker, whose wooing of shy Julie eventually leads to tragedy and celestial redemption. Shot on location in Maine and featuring an exuberant soundtrack with songs such as "June is Bustin' Out All Over"; "A Real Nice Clambake"; "When The Children Are Asleep" and "If I Loved You", plus of course the best-known song from the show, "You'll Never Walk Alone". find out more...
CRY-BABY (1990)

Certification15 Our Rating

US teen heart-throb Johnny Depp plays Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker, the coolest dude in school and the baddest boy in Baltimore. Rich, prim, new girl Alison thinks he's a dream, her grandmother thinks he's a nightmare. An even weirder cast than 'Hairspray' in this quirky, offbeat musical extravaganza that's got a touch of traditional John Waters shock stuff, but is predominately a parody of both 50s teen rebellion and 50s teen musical flicks. Its reputation has grown hugely with time. find out more...
DEVDAS (2002)

CertificationPG Our Rating

Devdas is a man destroyed by an act of lustful weakness that parts him from his true love forever (of course if she'd done it she'd just be slapper and he'd eventually get over his grief and find an even truer love). Only the arrival of sweet death will bring him his release and Devdas asks only that he can see Paro, the light of his life, before he departs the mortal world. 'Devdas' is a lush Bollywood epic; hugely enjoyable and so chocolate box sentimental if you ate one you'd probably die fro find out more...

Valerie is amazed when a UFO crash lands in her pool and three hairy aliens emerge. A haircut and a manicure later and she's got perfect escorts for a wild night on the town and the makings of an interplanetary love affair. This wacky flick is very funny for some, but downright boring for others. find out more...

The only time Astaire and Garland teamed up was an accident - Gene Kelly had broken his ankle and suggested Fred as his replacement. In the event a stylistic unease between them, save in the novelty song 'A Couple of Swells', is often apparent. But Easter Parade is lifted by Fred's show number 'Steppin' Out with My Baby', his brilliant 'Drum Crazy', and Ann Miller's 'Shakin' the Blues Away'. The story is Pygmalion-esque, the songs vintage Irving Berlin. And if you think they can't sing in 'At Lo find out more...
