A middle-aged widower enters a relationship with a beautiful, docile, doll-like younger girl. The film starts slowly, just vague hints to leave you a little uneasy, but you are like a fish on a hook and you will be landed as this women's revenge film, perhaps the nastiest most disturbing horror ever made, will leave unforgettable images etched in your mind forever.

Franz and Arthur team up with an innocent young girl, Odile, and decide to plan a heist, but as the trio cruise the bars and cafes of Paris hatching the perfect crime it becomes apparent, in their less than professional approach, that everything may not go as smoothly as at first hoped. The Outsiders is a tongue-in-cheek homage to early American pulp crime flicks, fast paced and free spirited, Godard's film retains much of its freshness and excitement.

In order to make an example the government introduces The Battle Royale Act - a problem class of teenagers are picked and sent to a secluded island where they are each given one weapon and must to fight to the death, with only one survivor permitted, and this year's choice, because one pupil knifed a teacher, is Class B from Zentsuji Middle School. 'Baby Bogart' or 'Bugsy Malone The Sequel'? Young teens act out the roles of our classic noir favourites, Sam Spade et al, against a backdrop of a daylight open-spaced LA suburbia. The characters are there, the script is there, the critics loved it and you, the viewers, rave about it. Sorry, but I just can't buy young high school kids acting out these roles.....ergo the answer is 'Bugsy Malone The Sequel'...but please make your own mind up.

Lumet's complex and atmospheric thriller is based on a real event. Pacino is superb as the neurotic and incompetent gay bankrobber who needs the money from the robbery to finance his lover's sex change operation. The film's beauty is it's closely detailed psychological observation. Excellent.
