Weeelll... same old really, isn't it? A plethora of good looking, vaguely 'highbrow' British stars; lovely shots of a picturesque London (Peckham, anyone?); and the affable Richard Curtis at the helm. A fantastically predictable romantic comedy marketed entirely for how the Americans view themselves and us. The Holiday is nicely shot, populated by beautiful famous people and will happily pass the time on an evening when the last think you want to do is think.
