It's nearly a century since the Vulcan's first discovered humanities capacity for warp power and earth is finally ready for its first exploration, a mission to return a wounded Klingon to his home, but there are others interested in him and the crew of the first Enterprise come face to face with an enemy who will prove an ever threatening foe well into the franchises future.
