Toni Cocozza is a Scottish-Italian crooner with an obsession for Frank Sinatra, he dreams of the big lights and the big city so it seems like a natural progression to become buddy with the local mob, who are happy to indulge his fancy. Toni becomes blinded by his desire, but he is also dimly aware of the price that is expected for any taste of fame and he is forced to make the hard choice, how badly does he want to walk in his idols footsteps and is it really worth the loss of his friends and the woman he loves? Stricktly Sinatra is an excellently performed drama, brooding and dark but also with flashes of inspired humour.
