Chris Burnett is a cocky US Navy pilot disillusioned with the tedious reality of his job. While flying over Bosnia on a reconnaissance mission he is shot down and so begins the adventure of his life as he runs from one near death experience to the next, attempting to reach a rescue rendezvous before he is killed for the UN violations he has witnessed. Behind Enemy Lines is a preposterously jingoistic and cheesy slab of Hollywood cinema, but despite some stomach churning lines and an instrumental sound track someone should be killed for, it's a darn entertaining movie, pacey, with some very slick action sequences and a likeable lead.
