The year is 2079 and Spencer Olham has just designed the ultimate weapon in earth's battle against a marauding alien force, but instead of admiration Spencer experiences only suspicion. It becomes clear that the government is convinced they have a spy in their midst and soon Spencer is under some pretty rigorous interrogation, an investigation that he realises he may not survive. Impostor is taken from a story by Philip K Dick and like most of his work that has been adapted for the cinema much of the twisted and ingenious possibility has been removed, that said this is still an enjoyable and pacey Sci Fi thriller.
