Goldie Hawn stars in this classic femme-a-military film. After her husband dies in flagrante on their wedding night Judy Benjamin is recruited into the Army under the guise that she will have her own room...and a yacht. Her Louis Vuitton purse and perfect nails get her off to a bad start with the officers and the other recruits but of course in no time she has changed her tune and saved the day. Hawn is perfect, playing the golddigging wife and army private deftly and with great humour. Terrific.
