When Joe Nast's fiance dies unexpectedly he finds himself trapped by his own conscience and the expectations he feels others have of him, in particular his prospective parents-in-law, Ben and Jojo. If this was all Joe had to deal with then things could be allowed to take their natural course but Joe has fallen in love and so begins his long and tortuous journey, treading a fine line between his obligations and his hopes with the constant danger that he may mess up both. Moonlight Mile is a fine and often humouress drama, helped by a particularly classy cast.
