Bob Montagnet is a man whose seen better days. Once a thief of high regard and now a gambler who seems to have lost his edge, (though his addiction to heroin can't help), life seems to be taking a slow but irreversable slide into oblivion. Bob however is provided with an unlikely chance of personal redemption, the ultimate art heist and the love of a bad woman. The Good Thief is a super smooth European based thriller, and though the plot ultimately fails to surprise, the quality of the acting and the visual flair compensate handsomely.
