In 'Lessons', Buffy accompanies Dawn on her first day at the re-built Sunnydale High school, and finds more than she bargained for when she encounters some evil spirits left over from her own high school days menacing the new students from their home in the basement, which is also where Spike happens to be hiding out. In 'Beneath You', Anya attempts to prove herself a worthy Vengeance demon by turning a young man into a giant flesh-eating worm. Unfortunately, he has an appetite for the girlfriend who cursed him, and is causing havoc with the tarmac of Sunnydale. It's up to Buffy to persuade Anya that this was not necessarily the point of the wronged woman's wish and save the day. In 'Same Place, Same Time', Willow finally returns to Sunnydale after her time spent learning to control her magic in England. Unfortunately, none of the scoobies can see her, and with a skin-flaying demon on the rampage this leads to a whole host of problems. Last episode on the tape is 'Help', in which Buffy takes a job as Sunnydale High's new student counsellor and meets a troubled young woman convinced she is about to die.
