Ten strangers find themselves holed up in a seedy motel, trapped by a torrential rainstorm and after a near fatal car accident desperate to make contact with the outside world. Unfortunately for all concerned ‘accidental' death soon turns out to be the least of their problems as one by one the reluctant guests are offed in suitably dramatic manner. Identity works fine for the first two thirds, nothing original, but it racks up the tension and keeps you wondering who the killer might be, with at least twenty minutes to go you get the ‘twist' and everything comes juddering to a halt, from here on in you cease to care, and the outcome, with its final feeble twist leaves you groaning with the trite inevitability of it all….Oh bugger.
