A catholic priest and a communist mayor reside, with much friction, in a remote Spanish village, but called to Madrid the unlikely pair embark on a journey that will test their beliefs and their clandestine friendship to its very limits. Monsignor Quixote is adapted from a Graham Greene novel and thanks in no small part to the superb cast, it is a witty and charming satire on religion, politics and human nature.
