Rachel invites everyone except Ross on a skiing trip, which, strangely, upsets Chandler most of all as it reminds him of his parents' divorce. Phoebe is beside herself when her brother decides to marry a woman twice his age. Rachel tries to help Chandler quit smoking, but gives him a hypnosis tape designed for women which makes him undergo a strange transformation. Ross finds the truth hard to face when Rachel returns all his gear, and Phoebe dates a nice, funny, and extremely rich guy but doesn't fancy him. C'mon girl, what more d'you want?! Joey fancies a girl he's rehearsing with but it's a case of unrequited love. But he shags her anyway. Meanwhile, Ross's boss goes on a date with Chandler. Monica's millionaire friend Peter asks her to be head chef at his restaurant, but what's the catch? Ross is asked to do a TV interview, and Joey buys Chandler a baby chicken. The friends go to the opening night of Joey's play which receives spectacularly awful reviews, and Ross tries to convince Rachel that her date is psychotic after he objects when Chandler's chicken craps on his hand. Chandler gets the heebeejeebees when his boss gets a little over-familiar, and Rachel gets miffed when Phoebe introduces Ross to a woman who used to be bald but now has an abundance of hair. Phoebe invites everyone to her client's beach house where a stripping game ensues. Then Bonnie, Ross's girlfriend, turns up and Rachel convinces her to shave her head again.
