High flying exec Jack plunges to earth when he blows the whistle on his pharmaceutical bosses, but just when it looks like he's about to book a one way ticket to cardboard city, one of his ex's appears with an offer. Fatima wants a child but not its father, and when Jack decides to help it gives him a money spinning idea, he'll hire himself out as a sperm donor…at $10,000 a shot. All goes well until he impregnates the daughter of a mafia boss, an error of judgement that draws in the wrath of the FBI as well as the wrath of her father. She Hate Me is a rather slight satire from Spike Lee which sails dangerously close to being simple heterosexual wish fulfilment…though as a practising heterosexual, I suppose I shouldn't have issue with this….Mmmmm.
