Ella is a beautiful sweet-natured young girl, unfortunately her ditzy fairy godmother bequeathed her the gift of 'obedience', and Ella has been suffering the consequences ever since. Now a young woman Ella is determined to get her 'gift' revoked, but despicable step sisters, hungry ogres, handsome princes and their evil uncles, make her journey an arduous one. Aching to needlessly fill the shoes of 'Princess Bride', Ella Enchanted is a fun and funny fairytale, though I'm not sure it will "captivate the entire family" unless mum and dad are under 10 as well...now that's a scary thought
