In this action packed romance set in the Early Middle Ages, post-Roman England is being ravaged by the brutal Irish and one man, Marke, seems destined to unite our blessed land against these ruthless imperialists, however he is betrayed by his wife's long standing romance with his adopted son. This is based around the tragic story of the adulterous love between the Cornish knight Tristan and the Irish princess Isolde, a myth deeply routed in British history and probably the main source for the triangular love story of Arthur, Guinivere and Lancelot.
