Lilly Tomlin and Bette Midler star as two very different twins who, due to a mix up at birth, are actually one half of two pairs of identical twins. When forty years later all four women (each couple now at opposite ends of the social spectrum) accidentally bump into each other the scene is set for utter chaos.
