Sure, it looks a bit cheap compared to the super-slick, HBO-led television spectaculars of late! But Spooks has gained popularity over the years and its aesthetic shortcomings are made up for by tight scripting and simple but exciting plotting. The first season kicks off with: Season 1, Episode 1: Thou Shalt Not Kill (13 May 2002); Episode 2: Looking After Our Own (20 May 2002).
