When a huge storm coincides with a high tide an enormous tidal surge is set in motion that rips across the South East coast and surges unstoppably towards London, overwhelming the city's last line of defence, the Thames Barrier. A mixture between eco drama and disaster movie, it's hard to emphasise how god awful ‘Flood' is. A cast who should know better deliver lines that beggar belief and as the turgid drama swills around your ankles when the action finally arrives it takes the form of some well soggy CGI.
