With the responsibilities of world peace, the national debt and dessert choices at state dinners constantly on his mind, it seemed like a good idea to get the President of the United States an analyst to help him deal with these burdens. Dr Sidney Schaefer wins the coveted job, but it turns into a surrealist nightmare; a man privy to the deepest thoughts of the most powerful man on earth must either be tortured for information or shot on sight for the sake of national security. A crazy, farcical and fevered comedy thriller, 'The President's Analyst' is more cunningly satirical than it might first appear and provides a refreshingly bizarre twist on the great conspiracy thrillers of 60s and 70s American cinema.
