An egotistical, nerdy, socially inept inventor (Will Ferrell) has designed a time travel machine. When its maiden voyage goes predictably 'pear-shaped' he finds himself in an alternative world where ravenous dinosaurs still roam the plains; his only companions a Neanderthal redneck, a pre-Stone Age ape and a shapely female fellow scientist. An awesomely piss poor spoof of ‘The Land Before Time' and ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth' this comedy adventure eventually wins you round simply by beating you senseless with the ‘silly/stupid' club. If underwear was a measurement of rubbish a T Rex could climb into these pants and legitimately complain they're too baggy. I quite enjoyed it though… god help me!
