Safe and sound in her suburban middle class home, 14-year old Annie meets her first boyfriend online. After months of web room chat and phone calls, Annie discovers her friend is not who he originally claimed to be. Upon discovering who and what their young daughter’s boyfriend is her parents struggle to cope with their horror, and in particular her father, who descends into a fantasy of revenge at the expense of his child’s well being. Trust is a well performed and intelligently directed drama focusing around the insidious phenomena of internet grooming.
