Five friends got to a remote cabin in the woods. Bad things happen. If you think you know the story. Think again. If you think the ‘twist’ will blow your pre-conceptions think a little harder; if you think the praise heaped upon it was a bit effusive then we’re beginning to think in symmetry. A less fresh ‘scream’ style tweak on the corking ‘evil dead’ horror genre.

Scott Donaldson says: "Five friends get set and go on what they expect to be a funfilled trip to a log cabin out in the middle of nowhere, but then the bad things start to happen. However, this isn't your regular, run of the mill bloodbath. Here, the horror movie rules are used and abused, bent and broken and put back together again in one almighty mash up, throwing everything the genre can be into the mix. It's all a very noble experiment, and there are some bright ideas, but for me Cabin... doesn't quite live up to its full potential, often sticking too closely to the rules it claims to be breaking."
